Career Qiblah was founded to solve a quiet but widespread challenge faced by many Muslims: navigating the professional world without having to compromise their faith.
In too many workplaces, prayer rooms are hidden—or don’t exist at all. Wudu facilities are overlooked. Halal food is an afterthought. And when it comes to inclusion, most employers simply don’t know what meaningful support for Muslim professionals actually looks like.
There’s also a lack of visibility and representation. Few career spaces allow Muslims to ask honest questions, explore industries they’ve historically been excluded from, or hear from people who share their values and their faith.
Career Qiblah exists to change that.
-
To make prayer-friendly, faith-inclusive careers more visible, accessible, and respected—while helping employers build environments where Muslim professionals don’t just exist, but truly thrive.
-
We’re building a practical, community-driven platform that helps Muslims find and thrive in workplaces that respect their faith. From our job board and searchable directory of prayer-friendly employers to our map tools that highlight nearby mosques and halal food spots, we’re putting faith-conscious careers on the map—literally.
We also support organisations with tools to do better. Our employer inclusion guides, resources, and community-led events help companies understand what it truly means to be a faith-friendly workplace—moving beyond policies to real, lived inclusion.

Career Qiblah was created by a Muslim professional with over 5 years of experience designing and delivering impactful inclusion programmes across the city. As a Programme Manager at a Social Mobility Charity she has delivered workshops and programmes to C-suite executives at some of the UK’s top firms—helping them understand how to build workplaces that are genuinely inclusive for underrepresented talent, including Muslims.
She is also the founder of The Creative Women’s Hub, an initiative that has supported hundreds of women from diverse backgrounds by delivering structured career development, strategic mentorship opportunities, and increased visibility through professionally curated events and exhibitions.
Career Qiblah brings together all of this lived experience: community insight, corporate strategy, and a deep belief that putting your faith first should never mean stepping back professionally.

In Islam, the Qiblah is the direction Muslims face in prayer — a symbol of clarity, purpose, and alignment.
At Career Qiblah, we use that same idea to help Muslims find direction in their careers: places where they can grow professionally without compromising who they are.
